Shoulder
Shoulder pain is a common complaint seen in the clinic. It can present as localised shoulder pain or more diverse pain spreading down the arm or up the neck.
There are many factors that can contribute to shoulder pain. Some of these are muscle imbalance / instability, impingement (nipping of structures inside the shoulder joint), rotator cuff problems, spinal stiffness and poor posture. More often than not there is a combination of these issues which need to be addressed. Our comprehensive treatments include:

Elbow
Common elbow problems we see at our clinic are tennis and golfers elbow. Believe it or not, you don’t have to play tennis or golf to suffer with these conditions.
They are overuse or overload injuries of the muscles of the forearm. The tendons of the muscles of the forearm attach around the elbow and this is why this area can become painful.
Tennis elbow manifests pain over the outside of the elbow where the muscles of the top of the forearm attach and golfers elbow is more painful on the inside relating to where the muscles on the underside of the forearm attach. Pain may also spread down the forearm and often gripping is uncomfortable.
Treatments include:
- Activity Modification Advice
- Specific Elbow / Wrist Joint Mobilisations
- Specific Soft Tissue Mobilisations
- Taping
- Strengthening and Stretching Exercises
