The most common elbow problem seen in the clinic is Tennis Elbow.

You do not have to play tennis to get tennis Elbow!!

Tennis Elbow is describing a condition where the tendons (ends of muscles that attach to bone) of the muscles on the top of the forearm become inflamed and scarred.

It is an overuse injury and pain is more noticeable with activities that involve gripping.

This can cause pain either locally over the outside of the elbow or if more severe all around the elbow and down the forearm.

Another condition causing elbow pain is Golfers Elbow. This is an overuse injury of the muscles of the underside of the forearm.

Pain is more commonly felt on the inside of the elbow.
