Back pain is something that many people will experience at some stage during their life.
It may be caused by injury or simply bad postural habits. Although the pain can be severe, serious or permanent damage is relatively uncommon.
The spine is an extremely strong structure made of small bones (vertebrae) which are connected by discs, ligaments and muscles.
All these structures have numerous nerve endings which if placed under stress will cause you pain.
